I spent most of my 20's as a new mom and small business owner, just trying to  figure it all out.

After taking the plunge and starting my first business when I was 24, I thought I had really taken on something BIG - something life changing. Becoming an entrepreneur is a big decision, am I right? So you can imagine the surprise I had when I found out I was pregnant just weeks later with my first daughter. Sometimes I look back in disbelief, thinking I was so young, barely an adult myself.  How could I run this new business and learn how to be a mom all at the same time?  Especially when I still felt like such a child myself?

Well, 18 months after the birth of my first daughter Keira, my second daughter, Sophie, was born. Yep, that's right! Within 18 months, I went from being a young woman with a corporate job, to becoming a self-employed mom of two little ones...all while being a wife, and maintaining any sort of "life" in midtown Toronto.

I had a brand new brick and mortar business and two brand new babies. Let's be honest - neither of those things are easy to navigate.

Insert the best decision I ever made - getting HELP! That's right. I'm not too proud to say I've been doing this thing all by myself. Since my daughters were young, I've had the support of either a part-time or full-time nanny in order to support a sustainable lifestyle. I never wanted to feel bogged down or overwhelmed by my role as "mama" I went ahead and created the life I truly desired.

I've suffered from a lot of anxiety and depression through the years, and although my life may appear sparkly on the outside, I want you to know this is real life. It's not always golden rays of sunshine. It can be tough, and  I get that.

I understand how moms can lose themselves, put themselves last, and start to feel unappreciated and unseen. We moms tend to carry a lot of guilt. We put our children before ourselves. It happens naturally and without awareness...and before you know it, mom life can start to consume you. But I'm here to give you permission to  make yourself a priority.

The superpower that moms have, is that we really can do it all.  With the right tools, we  can love our children, partners, and ourselves - and that's what this space is for. A little corner on the internet  for you to make time for yourself.

To save you some precious time momming (so you can spend more time on you), I've put together a collection of my favourite baby & kids products. And trust me, I've tried it all! I can't even tell you how many baby products I've purchased and sold, or how many vacations and 'relocations' I've gone on with my kids at all ages and stages!

Everything that I've experienced, I'm sharing with you, because I know that a lot of what I learned was from someone else -  someone who has been there and done that. And I want to be that person for you.

Enjoy reading about my motherhood journey and don't forget to check out my favourite finds below! You'll love these products as much as I do.

When I find something I love, I share.

As a mindful mom of three, I've researched and purchased tons of 'things' for my daughters through all the stages and ages. I share what has worked, and what has failed.  Let me do you a favour, let me be your resource for all things mom life so you don't need to make all the unnecessary purchases I have.

I loved these products so much that I included them in my gift baskets. Conscious and practical baby essentials that will come in handy, trust me!

It's no surprise that I love Amazon. As a small business owner and busy mom, I can say that although supporting small business and local is a priority for me; I rely on amazon a lot! I'm busy and I'm a mom.
