I've been travelling since I was a young girl and I absolutely love it! It's something that I just need to make space for in my life, no matter how chaotic it may be at times. Y'all know it's not easy travelling solo with three kids! But there's just something about stepping through the ARRIVAL gates that makes me feel at home in new places.

I tend to frequent hot and sunny destinations and prefer a chill vacation over a super adventurous or active one. But that's just me -  luxury travel is my thing! My travel budget is extensive by choice, because I make it a priority to fill my cup and really make the most out of every vacation. If you love to travel, be sure to explore my favourite things to pack below!

As a mom, I've joked over the years that travel can feel more like a 'relocation' than a vacation, packing up three extra humans and all of their necessities...but I would never suggest avoiding travel just because you have kids! Work with your situation and take it from me -  you can never be over prepared!

To help get you ready for your own travels, I've put together my own packing lists as well as tips and tricks for your own successful vacation (I mean.. relocation).

Shop my favourite travel essentials from the online boutique, or take a look below at my other favourite travel product recommendations from various retailers! HINT: most of them will fit in your carry on!

Over the years as an avid traveller, I've discovered what works and what doesn't. Throughout my blog I will be providing tips and tricks for booking travel, collecting and using travel points, travelling with babies and children as well as reviews on some of my favourite hotels and destinations. Ready to jet set? You will be after you spend some time with me!

    Safe flight and happy beaching!

When I find something I love, I share.

A lot of the travel products found in my lifestyle boutique are also in my gift baskets. They're some of my favourite health-conscious products that are also quality and super practical. Things I actually use and love. Natural sun care products, the best SPF primer, and tasty treats. I don't travel without my essentials!

    Coola sunscreen

    Dr. Bronner's Hand Sanitizer

It's no surprise that I love Amazon. As a small business owner and busy mom, I can say that although supporting small business and local is a priority for me; I rely on amazon a lot! I'm busy and I'm a mom, enough said.

With my prime membership, I receive delivery right to my house in 2 days or less, with competitive pricing and great service. For groceries, clothing and speciality items, I shop local.

Here are some of my favourite booking sites along with my recommended travel agent. Visit my travel blog for more travel tips and tricks.

TD For Expedia Travel with TD Visas

My favourite credit card and travel program. Perks: No restrictions or blackout dates, comparable to, competitive pricing, great travel insurance, you can transfer points between cards too!

I like to use the same booking agent to keep things streamlined. I know the rules, my itineraries are saved. You can also earn cash back when you use Ebates. Save money by booking hotel, flights and car together.

    Twil Travel

If I don't book the travel myself I use my agent Lori Gold, from Twill Travel. She's from Toronto, but living life in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. She has so many great resources to ensure a successful trip.

    VRBO & Homeaway

I use VRBO or HomeAway when renting houses or condos. I prefer this over AirBNB. Be careful of the terms when booking. All payment and communication is done through your account.

Airbnb is great when you're getting away for a few nights. There can be some great vacation rentals as well. Be sure to check VRBO as well. This can also be a risky way to travel as you don't really know what to expect.

    Four Seasons

I absolutely love The Four Seasons. It's always reliably wonderful. They usually have a special with a night free. I book all FS travel through my agent Lori as she can get upgrades and free breakfasts.
